Compare Telehealth Providers

How the main program types differ, how to check one before you pay, and what four programs list today.

Last updated

Prices change often. We last checked on November 1, 2026; confirm with each provider.

Three types of program

Most options fall into one of three groups. The main differences are who provides your care and what your monthly payment covers.

Manufacturer direct-pay

LillyDirect and NovoCare sell some medications directly to people paying cash, at the self-pay prices on our costs page. Those prices run from $149 to $449 a month, depending on the medication and dose. There’s no membership fee, but you still need a prescription. These programs mainly handle the medication, so you’d need a clinician to prescribe it. Lilly says it can connect you with independent virtual or in-person care if you need help finding a doctor.

Brand-only telehealth

These programs provide the clinician and ongoing support, and the medication is usually a separate charge. Ro, Hims & Hers, and WeightWatchers Med+ fit this group based on the pages we checked. You’re paying two bills, so add them together when you compare. Ro says its cash prices match LillyDirect and NovoCare, which means its membership fee is the main difference from buying direct. Check this for any program you’re considering.

Mixed brand and compounded

Some programs offer both. Found’s plans include compounded medication in the plan price, and brand-name medication may be available at an added cost. Compounded drugs are not FDA-approved, and they are not the same as FDA-approved products. The FDA has also announced plans to restrict the ingredients used in non-approved compounded GLP-1s, so these options could change. Ask which product you’d receive, and what happens if it stops being available.

Reading the table: Fees are ongoing rates, not introductory offers. “Brand” means the pages we checked listed FDA-approved medication only. “Not listed” means the page we checked didn’t describe insurance help.

Found: “Not comparable” means its listed plan prices bundle compounded medication, so they can’t be compared with brand-name pricing. See its pricing page for current plans.

Hims & Hers: Its FAQ says insurance isn’t required and doesn’t describe insurance help.

How we choose programs

This is a starting list, not every program available. A program has to meet these basics before we list it:

Here’s what that does and doesn’t mean:

Only a licensed clinician can decide whether a medication is right for you. A listing here doesn’t change that.
